A Prison Officer

Mr Fong came in to talk to us about his Job.

He is a Prison Officer.  He looks after people who have made bad choices.  They are locked up in prison to help them learn to be good and to keep us safe.

He has 3 uniforms that are  the same colour as the police. He wore his special uniform to talk to us it is called his number 1's. He wears a belt with the uniform he wears most of the time.  It is called his residential uniform.

He has a belt full of equipment.
He has a chain for his keys so he doesn't  loose them, a holder for  his radio, a first aid kit, gloves for searching, and hand cuffs.
He showed us how he searches prisoners and puts on hand cuffs.
